ENHANCEMENTS

  1. Summary by Job Code in Role based Payroll report
    1. Currently, in the Role based Payroll report, when an employee has multiple roles, the summary of each role is displayed separately per week.
    2. Now a consolidated summary for each role needs to be displayed at the bottom.
    3. Reference: Payroll Summary by Job code
  1. Log off by job code
    1. Currently, in the back office, the option “Log Off After Each Sale” is available in the store settings. Hence, when this option is enabled, all the POS available in the store will be logged off after each sale completion.
    2. Now, the option “Log Off A_er Each Sale” will be displayed under each Role. Hence the store admin can decide this option to be enabled or disabled for a Job Code/Role.

  2. Add time period to survey
    1. Date filter is added in the “User Feedback” screen so that the admin user will be able to filter the feedback based on the chosen date.

  3. Cash discount on UI and print before payment
    1. When the Cash Discount is enabled in the Back Office, then the “Order Summary” screen of POS will display the following details:
      1. Total – will display the sum of Subtotal, Tax, Tip, Gratuity and Cash Discount Rate. “Cash Discount Rate” will be calculated based on the amount or percentage given in the back office. [Settings >> Stores >> Cash Discount]
      2. Cash Option – will display the sum of Subtotal and Tax.
    2. The above changes will display only in the Bill print.

  4. PreAuth delete feature
    1. Currently, in the Linga POS we will not able to delete the Pre-Auth transactions.
    2. Now, we can able to delete the Pre-Auth transactions made in eDynamo device in the “Payment” screen.
    3. But the deleted transactions will not be displayed in the reports.

  5. Adding delivery address in the Delivery Dispatch screen
    1. Currently, in Linga POS, the Street address will not be displayed on the Phone Order screen.
    2. Now the street address of the customer will be displayed on the Phone Order screen.
    3. This will make it easier for the employee to assign orders to the driver(s).

  6. Cash Reward with Loyalty
    1. Currently, in Linga application, the loyalty points are accumulated based on customer enrollment, every visit to the restaurant and for the purchase.
    2. Now the loyalty points will also be calculated based on the payment type.

PAYROLL SUMMARY 

Introduction

Currently, in the Role based Payroll report, when an employee has multiple roles, the summary of each role is displayed separately per week. Now a consolidated summary for each role needs to be displayed at the bottom.

Changes in the Back Office

Role based Payroll
  1. Currently, when an employee (Martin) has a dual role – Cashier and Server, and when the report is downloaded for two weeks it is displayed as Cashier Total and Server Total separately per week. Hence the user finds difficult to calculate the summary of each role when the report is for more than one week.
  2. Now, when an employee (Martin) has a dual role – Cashier and Server, and when the report is downloaded for two weeks it is displayed as Cashier Total and Server Total, then a consolidated summary will be displayed at the bottom.




LOG OFF BY JOB CODE

Introduction

  1. Currently, in the back office, the option “Log Off A_er Each Sale” is available in the store settings. Hence, when this option is enabled, all the POS available in the store will be logged off after each sale completion. Now, the option “Log Off After Each Sale” will be displayed under each Role. Hence the store admin can decide this option to be enabled or disabled for a Job Code/Role.

Changes in the Back Office

  1. Settings
    1. The option Log Off After Each Sale will be removed from the Settings screen. [Settings >> Store >> Settings]

  2. Roles
    1. A new option Log Off After Each Sale will be displayed for each Role. [User Management >> Roles >> POS]
    2. By default, this option will be in disable mode.
    3. The user can enable the option later.

  3. For existing users,
    1. If the option “Log Off After Each Sale” was enabled in a store, now this option will be enabled for all the roles.
    2. If the option “Log Off After Each Sale” was disabled in a store, now this option will be disabled for all the roles.

Changes in the iPad

  1. Based on the roles, the user will be logged off after each sale.


DELIVERY DISPATCH ENHANCEMENTS 

Introduction

Currently, in Linga POS, the Street address will not be displayed on the Phone Order screen. Now the street address of the customer will be displayed on the Phone Order screen. This will make it easier for the employee to assign orders to the driver(s). This document describes the changes that need to be implemented in the iPad.

Impact in the iPad

Phone Order
  1. Display Street Address the customer “Address Line 1” field given on the customer profile will be displayed on IPAD Phone Order screen.
  2. The column Street Address will be displayed in the Phone Order screen adjacent to the column Zone. As mentioned in the below sample UI.
  3. The column Street Address will display the value of Address Line 1 of the customer.
Note : The customer “Street Address" will be displayed for as maximum length fits within the given UI on IPAD. If the
address length is more it won't show in UI.

Note:
  1. The column "Street Address" will be displayed only in the New and Out tab on the Phone Order screen.
  2. The value of "Street Address" will be displayed in the new sale. (i.e) it will not display for the existing checks.

CASH REWARD WITH LOYALTY

Introduction

Currently, in Linga application, the loyalty points are accumulated based on customer enrollment, every visit to the restaurant and for the purchase. Now the loyalty points will also be calculated based on the payment type.

Changes in the Linga Admin

  1. A new option Cash Reward with Loyalty will be displayed on the Account screen.
  2. By default, this option will be in disable mode.
  3. The admin can enable the option later.
  4. On enabling the option, a note saying, "Please make sure to configure the cash and non-cash points in the Loyalty screen" will be displayed.

Changes in the Back Office

Loyalty
  1. The option A point for every will be renamed as Points for the amount in the Loyalty screen.
    1. The field will have two text boxes - Amount and Points.
    2. The user can configure the points for the respective amount.
    3. For existing loyalty, previously given value will be displayed in the Amount text box and 1 will be displayed in the Points text box.
  2. When the option Cash Reward with Loyalty is enabled in the Linga Admin, two options will be displayed in the Loyalty screen.
    1. Points for Cash Payment
    2. Points for Non-Cash Payment
  3. As soon as the option Cash Reward with Loyalty is enabled in the Linga Admin, the option Points for the amount in the Loyalty screen will be displayed as Points for Non-Cash Payment.
  4. The user will provide the amount and the corresponding points.
  5. Hence, when the customer makes payment in the POS, the loyalty points will be calculated based on the payment method chosen.
